文章应用复杂网络的相关知识对《病毒学报》的作者数据构造科研合作网,并且通过度、聚类系数、膨胀率和中介度对网络中的节点进行分析,发现在网络中这几项特征具有一些关联,利用这些关系可以挖掘网络中的主要节点,分析网络中作者的影响力,从而为文献服务和人才评价提供参考。     

The Flipped Classroom as a Tool for Engaging Discipline Faculty in Collaboration: A Case Study in Library-Business Collaboration

This case study focuses on an innovative approach to the flipped classroom as a tool for productive library-discipline faculty collaboration on information literacy instruction. The argument is presented that the flipped classroom can be a pathway into the disciplines that can be used in overcoming the disadvantages of the one-shot and other barriers to collaboration. The case study will outline the reasons for a successful collaboration on integrating information literacy into this undergraduate business course and for its extension to five additional business courses. Practical examples of learning outcomes, in-class activities, and assessment are provided.     

基于资源整合的馆际协同合作机制研究

[目的/意义] 通过探索在图书馆、档案馆、博物馆资源整合的基础上三馆提供服务的优势,了解馆际协同合作的基础和原则,论证馆际合作在理论和实践方面的重要性,为未来馆际协同合作提供理论基础和实践指导。[方法/过程] 阐述资源整合及协同合作的概念和本质,分析协同合作的基础和原则,在此基础上提出馆际协同合作机制,并运用案例研究法证实馆际协同合作机制的可行性及可用性。[结果/结论] 用案例研究方法证实馆际协同合作的可行性及可用性,并在分析馆际协同合作服务能力、服务对象以及服务的质量评价基础上对馆际合作的研究提出一些理论和实践方面的建议。     

美国跨系统图书馆联盟合并典型LYRASIS的实践及启示

[目的/意义] LYRASIS是在美国经济危机背景下由多个联盟合并而成,是联盟大合作、大协作的典型样本。国内跨系统联盟发展遇到瓶颈,通过对LYRASIS的实践调研分析,对我国跨系统联盟建设提出建议。[方法/过程] 通过LYRASIS等相关网站、数据库检索获取相关文献、LYRASIS相关人员的邮件等调研,获得LYRASIS联盟的翔实数据资料。[结果/结论] 调研发现：LYRASIS成员馆类型多样,有多元的资金来源,开展多样化的服务与项目合作,拥有很强的技术服务竞争优势,制定成员馆需求驱动的战略规划。提出国内跨系统区域联盟需要调整联盟运作模式,争取多元资金来源渠道,形成有竞争力的硬性优势,做好战略规划,促进区域间联盟合作。     

Implementation of a Research Information Management System in a Pediatric Hospital

Faculty publications have been collected in universities, health, and medical institutions for many years, and Cincinnati Children’s is no exception. Since 1949, a yearly list of faculty publications was manually compiled using multiple data sources and disseminated by the Edward L. Pratt Research Library. Products to centralize faculty publication collection and analysis with bibliometric tools are growing in popularity. This article will review the collaborative decision to choose a Research Information Management System and the implementation process including successes, challenges, and future opportunities.     

Standing at the Gates: A New Law Librarian Wonders About the Future Role of the Profession in Legal Research Education

ABSTRACT

There have long been complaints about the legal research skills of law school students and recent graduates. In this article the author focuses on the period between the release of two important reports on legal education, the MacCrate Report in 1992 and the Carnegie Report in 2007, examining how law librarians and other professionals involved were engaged in responding to the problem. The author concludes that if law librarians want to be involved more fully in legal research education, some changes or reexamination of our professional culture and positions may be necessary.     

A Coworking Project in the Campus Library: Supporting and Modeling Entrepreneurial Activity in the Academic Library

Advances in technology, changes in demographics, and the increasingly global nature of the economy indicate that many jobs lost during the recent global recession will not be returning. Regardless of their major field of study, college students would benefit greatly from becoming more entrepreneurial in their thinking, yet opportunities for developing entrepreneurial behaviors on campus, especially for non-business majors, are few. This article describes a coworking project, from creation to follow-up survey, which aimed to create a space within the campus academic library to encourage student, faculty, and entrepreneur collaboration and interaction while demonstrating the economic value of the library.     

The Multi-point Regional Online Book Circulation Platform Based on the Intelligent Collaboration北大核心

The multi-point regional online book circulation platform is a collaborative service model which realizes the integration of regional library warehousing and automatic management of the whole process by cloud platform in a certain area. The concept and algorithmic technology application of the intelligent collaboration provide the technical support for the resource control and allocation, the multi-agent cooperation and interaction, the business and service coordination for the multi-point regional online book circulation platform. The multipoint regional online book circulation platform based on the intelligent collaboration can relieve the pressure of library collection space, expand the radiation range and service radius of collection resources, and facilitate the storage, deployment and service of regional literature resources, all of which meet the requirements of green and energy saving development of smart libraries. It is found that the multi-point regional online book circulation platform based on the intelligent collaboration has the application scenarios and service functions for user service, intelligent stereo book warehousing and library management, and it is a platform service supply mode of smart libraries incorporating management and service. With a variety of technologies such as Internet of Things, big data, machine learning, intelligent collaboration, cloud platform, etc., this model has the following functions: supporting the multi-intelligent device collaboration management, the dynamic multi-task allocation and the multi-agent intelligent collaborative decision-making, which could be helpful for the collection space planning, resource allocation and joint decision-making among libraries; forming the integrated service model, which could optimize the business flow collaboration, prospective literature resource allocation and intelligent recommendation; implementing the remote intelligent coordination control for the data security and risk and emergencies, which could realize the integrated safety management and standardized operation of multiple libraries with a small amount of human, material and financial resources. The primary construction scheme of this platform has been adopted and put into practice by Foshan Library. Establishing the need for health communication research: best practices model for building transdisciplinary collaborations

The benefits of transdisciplinary collaboration for addressing complex health problems are widely accepted; however, acknowledging the bumps and twists along the road that are inherent in those collaborations is often considered taboo. Academic norms that prevent open discussion of these challenges can have counter-productive results. This essay describes the major education efforts, milestones, and footfalls in the development of an effective partnership between communication-trained researchers in a College of Journalism and Communications and medical researchers in a College of Medicine. We hope it can serve as “best practice” for understanding the value of team science and interdisciplinary research collaborations.
